ControlAir's
Diaphragm Air Cylinders are also available
in miniature versions. Small Bore models
are based on the unique rolling diaphragm
principle that virtually eliminates friction.
The fact that there is no stiction or blow-by
of any kind permits uncompromising accuracy
and repeatability.
Models
MINI MIGHTS
The Mini Might has an aluminum alloy body,
treated steel rod and reinforced nitrile
diaphragm, making it both lightweight and
durable. The 0.7 inch bore/stroke and nose
mounted design allows flexibility in restricted
space situations.
LOW COST CYLINDERS
With an equivalent bore of only 1.5 inches,
our Low Cost Cylinder series is available
with either a 1.0 or 1.75 inch stroke from
its chrome plated carbon steel rod. These
cylinders can precisely and repeatedly generate
over 200 pounds of force. Truly a major
workhorse in a small package.

These cylinders perform crucial roles in
Precision Automation, Positioning, Life-Cycle
Testing, High-Tech Polishing and Grinding,
Printing Machinery, Controlled Clamping
and Actuation.
Modifications
Modifications can be made to tailor the
design or materials to meet individual customer
requirements. Diaphragm materials can be
changed to make the cylinders compatible
with a wide variety of gasses or to operate
at tempertures from -65° F to +400°
F. Some versions are available without springs
or bearings. Please contact the factory
to discuss your particular application.
